Born to market gardener grandparents, keen home gardener parents and father to two little boys who take particular pride their dad’s vegetable ‘farm’, the compulsion to manipulate, improve and nurture the landscape is in Martin’s blood.
Over his 15 + years of experience Martin has held many positions within the Landscape Industry. He has experienced roles both in a ‘hands on’ and managerial capacity from plant propagation through landscape construction to maintenance of various sized parks and gardens.
Martin has delivered an extensive range of projects and at times his work has taken him to regional South Australia for extended periods. He has successfully delivered projects from small scale residential gardens through multi-million dollar redevelopments. Projects have been undertaken in a variety of sectors including aged care, property and land development, government projects, education, playspaces, private gardens and more.
Martin is a highly organised and highly skilled manager and has an un-compromising standard for quality and service.
Throughout his career Martin has been a keen collaborator, always focused on what he may be able to add to the outcome of any particular project. He has accumulated a varied range of skills and knowledge and undertaken formal studies in business, horticulture, construction and design.
Martin fosters the same uncompromising standards, commitment to continuous improvement and skilful and knowledgeable execution of his work in all of the team at Elton Landscapes. His staff share his enthusiasm for their work, thirst for new knowledge and exceptional project outcomes. As the company continues to grow Martin will be there to ensure it is not at the expense of these values.
